About Vigil Smart Systems
Vigil came about from my Nanny Jackie. When we lost my Grandad we realised she now had no one to check on her. No one to double check the doors were locked. No one to make sure she remembers to take her medicines or to make sure she's had enough cups of tea!
Constant phoning and texting can be tough to stay on top of with the unforeseen busyness of day-to-day life, so we came up with the idea of utilising smart home tech to be able to check in on her, but to also give us notifications if something was wrong, without her having to lift a finger.
We also wanted to help her feel secure with things like outdoor cameras and a smart doorbell connected to a smart home assistant. This gave us easy monitoring that wasn't invasive, whilst giving us peace of mind that she was safe and secure.
We decided that we wanted to share the peace of mind we experience with as many people as we can! We sought out, tested and combined the best that tech companies had to offer to create a system that marries together security and subtlety to give peace of mind, without making our loved ones feel like big brother is watching them 24/7.
A guardian vigilantly watching over them to make sure they are okay.
